Premium 17 oz Double Wall Insulated Borosilicate Glass Coffee Mug with Lid & Handle - Hot & Cold Beverage Cup for Home, Office, Camping & Travel

I really love this mug, and if it were my very first double wall borosilicate glass mug, I'd be freaking out with excitement. It's really beautiful and the glass is substantially thicker than my last 2 identical mugs, which both broke from their frailty. It's also heavier and more sturdy, which is a really good thing. The mug's rim is so wide that my lips get tired from having to grip around it for every sip. Otherwise, I have to totally relax my lips and just kind of tip the mug back to drink it. I got used to it, but it was uncomfortable for the first couple days. You'll see what I mean if you get this. The top opening is also very wide from one side to the other side. My huge silicone butterfly cover just barely covers the rim which surprised me. It almost doesn't fit, and the silicone cover is really big. At first I didnt like the glass cover at all because it has no silicone gasket on it or anything to keep it on tight. It rattles around and doesn't fit perfectly.. But it does seem to hold in the heat okay anyway, although it's not as good as something that covers the sides and keeps the liquid totally insulated. If the glass were thinner, you'd have to be very careful, but the top is sturdy and fairly thick as well. The mug design holds in heat much better than a regular ceramic mug, and the larger size holds the perfect amount of tea or coffee or whatever drink you choose to drink from it. I have small hands so the handle perfectly fits my four fingers. It may be a bit small for larger hands, but most likely, you're gonna love this mug. I use it every single day.My favorite mug. This mug looks beautiful and is also very practical with it's lid, when walking around the house with a full cup to prevent spillage. My significant other likes it so much that I was going to get another but it's sold out. if it comes back, it's definitely worth it.The mug seems fine in general, although I am nervous about the durability of the glass. However, with the lid on it does not hold 17 ounces it holds about 15 ounces. If you try to put the lid on when the mug is too full (i.e. more than 15 ounces) the contents will overflow. The design of the lid traps air in the lid which forces the liquid down and pushes it out of the cup. Three modifications would improve the design and functionality: 1) a small airhole in the middle of the lid, to let air out when putting on the lid and allowing more liquid to stay in the mug; 2) a silicone bead around the lid where it rests on the mug, so the lid doesn't rattle or fall off; and 3) a silicone bead around the bottom of the mug to allow a soft landing of the mug on a hard surface. I would gladly pay double the price for a mug with these features.I really like this mug! It has a large capacity which is a must for office workers like me. This keeps me from having to get up to refill my coffee as many times. It has a stylish modern look and I love the fact that you can remove the lid entirely and have it be like a regular mug! I like the fact that it's clear glass, so you can see how much coffee you have left. It does not seem like something that should be put in the microwave or the dishwasher, so handwashing is best. I am so glad I got this mug and would buy it again!I have to admit, when it first arrived I was very skeptical. It feels flimsy, like it’s going to shatter any second if anything touches it. It’s very lightweight and feels like fairly thin glass, not like normal drinking glasses.But it’s held up perfectly fine without any issues to my daily morning coffee, and kept it warm longer too.It’s survived the dishwasher a few times and the regular washing by hand every day. My spoon hasn’t scratched it yet either so that’s something.Aaand I just love how it looks ;) The lid is definitely a cool extra.I like this cup, but it's smaller than advertised. Even 16 ounces of fluid overflow it. I would give this a 5-star rating if it truly held 17 ounces. 17 is exactly right for making microwave tea with one bottle of water, which is what I thought I was getting. (The glass top is superfluous for me...essentially worthless.)I don't even know where to begin...YOU NEED this, seriously. This is just one of the cutest cups I've even purchased. It's glass so yes, it must be treated with care. I like that it's glass, it just looks so clean & yes it is easy to clean. I love the double wall, it doesn't just look cool but it keeps me from getting burned. I also love the top to keep things out my cup. I have other tea cups but I just find that I grab this one often.Okay, first let me say that I am not a real tea drinker, or wasn't before I purchased this cup. Oh my goodness, this is the best thing. I love that this cup is warm to the touch even with hot liquid it. I now drink more tea with this cup, and I can now say that I might be a real tea drinker.
