I purchased this table based on the good reviews that it received. I was happy that the tabletop and bottom shelf were real wood and were sturdy. However when we began assembling it we found that one set of the base legs was scratched. I thought that perhaps we could cover that and wasn’t to upset with that problem. But after attaching the bottom shelf to both leg supports we found that the supports didn’t line up with the holes for the top. They weren’t even close, probably an inch or more off. We turned the legs in another direction thinking that would solve the issue, however that didn’t work at all. When turning the table upright, the wood pieces that the legs to the shelf attach to, came off. They were only attached by tack nails and not even glued on! The whole thing was a mess so I asked Amazon for a refund. I was told that it was up to the manufacturer, Evan it, PPurlove. The company sent an email asking me to take pictures of the problems. I had already packaged the table for return and thought it absurd to ask me to send pictures when they would see the problems when they would receive the returned table. This whole experience has been time consuming, disappointing and frustrating. I would not recommend the table because of the problems we encountered and the response we received when requesting a refundI love this little table. Just 26" x 26" and the perfect size for a U shaped sectional sofa. It was beyond easy to put together and took me about 15 minutes to put some screws in with the enclosed wrench. It's a good weight, with black metal frame and in a med wood. I was so happy to find it available here on Amazon after seeing the same table on a few others sites under a different name and at twice the price. I couldn't be happier with it and would definitely recommend it.Sturdy and good looking little table. Easy to assemble and can be placed in any desirable place around the house.What turned me off is the fact that both of the top and bottom wooden parts are scuffed, scratched, and dented. I'm not going to return it because I don't have the patience to get on the phone and discuss the issues with customer service, nor pack the table and send it back for an exchange.Not a happy camper! This is exactly what I was looking for! The wood blends perfectly with the other wood furniture in my living room, and the metal legs give it the perfect edge. The wood top is nice and smooth, and looks beautiful.Good value purchase. The wood is a veneer, but very attractive. The table top was very dry, but two coats of Tung oil brought out a great finish.
